A 9-year-old does not need to train like a professional.
Early specialisation can limit athletic development and increase injury risk. Playing different sports builds a broader movement base — balance, coordination, decision-making and athleticism that transfers everywhere.
There is plenty of time for specialised pathways later. First, build the athlete.
